Being a person who currently works at a screen printing shop makes my clothes at high risk for getting damaged during the typical work day. This makes nights and weekends so special since I get to where exactly what I want and not have this looking fear of my clothes getting wrecked. Last weekend we had the perfect weather all weekend and I definitely took advantage. On Saturday I visited my brother who lives in Hudson Falls, this very depressed and kitschy town. We went out for lunch and then took a quick walk around the park after to burn a few calories and enjoy the beautiful day.
I paired this simple and delicate bodysuit with the most amazing pair of high waisted jeans. These jeans from American Eagle are a bright and light denim. They also are ripped and distressed in the most amazing way and gives a nice contrast to the body suit. I haven’t been a jeans person in a while but lately I have been really into American Eagle’s denim, so much so that I have been making it a staple in my wardrobe.
To neutralize the delicate and distress of my top and bottom I paired it with a blush bomber jacket I got from American Eagle as well. This is the perfect shade of pink for spring and 2017. The fit is so good as well, it hits me in all the right places and is the perfect weight for an early spring morning and breezy afternoon. Needless to say I’m in love.
Since it was a super casual day and nothing too exciting I decided to dress nice but not too over the top. I wore this amazing off the shoulder lace body suit from Victorias Secret. It was super comfortable and flattering and the flouncy lace details were the perfect touch. The fit was absolutely perfect. Sometimes I have trouble with off the shoulder things falling down or rolling up but because of the band on top of the flounce this body suit sits right in place.
Strolls by the Lake
The next day I was tasked by my two best friends to take photos of them for their facebook and instagrams. It was a gorgeous day so we decided that Lake George would be the perfect backdrop for these photos. Knowing that I was going to be photographing and walking a bit I opted for a very casual and comfy style.
Also knowing that it’s windy by the lake I wanted to be wearing something with minimal wardrobe malfunction possibilities. All these conditions equaled one thing in my mind…maxi dress. Not just any maxi dress my super soft and super cute floral maxi from Jessakae. Let’s face it, on the weekend who wants to wear pants. So this maxi was the perfect choice. It also was super easy to move around in to get the perfect shot of some of my besties. I highly reccomend these beautiful floral dresses from Jessakae. This is my second and it is sure not to be my last.
I also paired this beautiful dress wih this oversized and distressed jean jacket. This is my first jean jacket purchase in years and I am obsessed and so glad more denim has come into my life. This was purchased at my beloved American Eagle as well.
